A homeowner’s association is an organization in a community development that makes and enforces rules for the properties and their residents. Property Owners are liable for the management, repair and maintenance of all common parts of the Amwaj Islands development.
The Amwaj Islands Central Owners Association (AIA), is an association established by a group of Main Owners Associations, Joint Property Owner Associations, Single Owned Plots and other Owners of Amwaj Islands in accordance with the provisions of Law 27 of 2017.
The AIA will be responsible for all the common parts of Amwaj Islands. All decision -making and administrative responsibilities are transferred from the Master Developers to the Central Owners Association and will be bound by the Governance Documents.
The AIA provides the regulations and guidelines for the Amwaj community. These standards are actions that must or should be done with the aim of preserving and enhancing the community’s property values.
They will include rules and guidelines which are appearance-oriented, dealing with cleanliness, condition, and repair. They will also include fines for those that do not abide by the rules and regulations.
